What You Do

A short assessment, answered at your own pace

Ask most job seekers what they are good at and you will hear job titles. Employers do not hire titles; they hire capabilities: how you reason, how you judge, how you influence, how you deliver. The Snapshot measures exactly that.

1

Answer the short form. The Snapshot is a short version of the full Capabilities Assessment, built on the LEADS model, the capabilities employers hire for. It takes minutes, not hours, and you answer at your own pace.

2

Get your pillar profile. Your answers come back as scores across the five LEADS pillars, with your strongest capability named first and a best focus for what to build next.

3

Unlock the toolkit. Finishing the assessment opens Tools and Guides in the same account: RepCheck, plus free uses of the Resume Analyzer and the Interview Coach. No card required.

The Sample Output

Quinn's Snapshot read, on one screen

The report cover leads with proof, not a grade: the strongest capability up top, the best focus beside it, and the five pillar scores at a glance underneath. This is Quinn's real result.

1

Strongest capability: Reasons Critically and Solves Problems, 90 percent. The capability Quinn scores highest on sits at the top of the report, ready to quote in a resume and an interview.

2

Best capability focus: Thrives in Chaos, 40 percent. The one score the report flags as the place to develop next, named just as plainly.

3

Five pillar scores at a glance. The strip across the cover carries the note "OrgInsights scores only": the platform's read of your answers, pillar by pillar.

That is the whole Snapshot read: five pillar scores, your strongest capability, your focus capability, and a plain definition and interpretation for every score, so no number sits there unexplained. Capability by capability detail sits in the Full Report, covered below.

The summary pages, as the report prints them

These are pages 4 and 5 of Quinn's sample report PDF, shown exactly as the report prints them. The first page names the top and lowest scoring categories, and where the assessment rated Quinn higher or lower than Quinn rated herself. The second page is the summary scores: every pillar with your score beside the OrgInsights score and the gap between them, then the top three and bottom three capabilities.

How To Read Your Scores

Capabilities, not a personality label

1

A score is a capability read. It describes what you can do, scored from your answers. It is not a personality type and it is not fixed: capabilities can be built, which is the point of measuring them.

2

Read your strongest capability first. That is the headline a hiring manager should hear from you, and the evidence your resume and interview stories should lead with.

3

Read your focus capability next. It is not a verdict. It is the one score where deliberate development buys you the most, and the report names it instead of leaving you to guess.

Proof a resume cannot give on its own: your strongest capability, named and scored, before you write a word of it.

What It Unlocks

Finishing the Snapshot opens the tools

The Snapshot is step one of one account. Complete the assessment and Tools and Guides opens with every tool working from the same evidence about you.

Tools and Guides in the OrgInsights app showing the Assessment Guide, Resume Analyzer, Interview Coach, Industry and Development Report, and RepCheck cards
Real screen from the app. Demo user shown.
1

RepCheck, included. The public footprint self-check is included on every plan, the free Snapshot included, with no usage limit.

2

Resume Analyzer, 2 free uses. The updated and enhanced Analyzer, built into the app: three honest scores for your resume, and what AI screening sees when it reads it.

3

Interview Coach, 2 free uses. Practice questions built around your target role and your own resume, with a scored review of what your answers fit, covered, and missed.

One card on that screen, the Industry and Development Report, belongs to the Full Report, not the Snapshot. It is covered in the comparison below so the line stays clear.

Snapshot vs Full Report

What the Full Report adds

The Snapshot is the free first read. The Full Report is the same assessment, opened all the way up. Nothing in the right hand column is Snapshot output.

Free SnapshotFull Report, $99 one time

The Gap Metric compares your self scores with ratings from people who have worked with you, so the rater view arrives with the 360 edition ($149, one time). The Coaching edition ($199, one time) adds a one on one coaching session. And the real sample Full Report is a free PDF download on orginsights.io, so you can read every page before you spend anything.

Limits And Method

A short form self read, stated plainly

  • The Snapshot is a short form self read: your answers, scored on the LEADS model. It is a starting read, not the whole picture of you.
  • It scores capabilities, what you can do, not personality, who you are. Your view of yourself is also only half the data; the full assessment adds the rater view and the capability level detail.
  • The assessment items were developed in 2020 by Mapien, an Australian industrial and organizational psychology firm, for the capabilities employers consistently say decide hiring.
  • No assessment can guarantee an interview or an offer. What the Snapshot gives you is a defensible read on your strengths to build the rest of your search on.
Access

Free, and it starts everything

The Snapshot is free, no card required, and it is the front door to the whole OrgInsights account: your report, RepCheck on every plan, and two free uses each of the Resume Analyzer and the Interview Coach, all from one short assessment.
